Plant Adjacent was founded in New York State by Mary Catherine (she/they). A homegrown operation, Plant Adjacent was born from a love of crafting, and is heavily inspired by nature and literature.

Mary Catherine is a queer artist that embodies the phrase “a jack of trades and a master of none is better than a master of one.” They work across multiple mediums, and all of their pieces are individually handmade, and assembled in the USA. The first flowers she ever pressed came from her wedding bouquet, and they are proudly displayed in their home.
